Summer Camp organised at Jammu by KALAPAARKHI


Jammu. 15TH June 2014. To culminate fifteen day Children’s Theatre cum dance workshop organized by KALAPAARKHI in collaboration with APNA PARIVAAR, an NGO engaged in the upliftment of downtrodden ,at  CHERUB’S DAY BOARDING SCHOOL, Greater Kailash, a short play “ DOODH MEIN CHUHA” written by  Anand parkash Jain and directed by Vikram Rajwaal was presented at K.L.Saigal Hall, Canal Road Jammu today on 15th June 2014.The play was followed by scintillating dance performances by the tiny scholars of the summer camp.

The programme started with the traditional lightening of the ceremonial lamp by the dignitaries in the presence of the Summer camp organizers Harkirt Jij and Vikram Rajwaal.
The play “ DOODH MEIN CHUHA” was presented in   which Mannat,Sonali, Akarshita, Navya, Nitish, Nikhil, Dilkhush and Manoj Yadav proved their acting mettle. The play is a satire on the modern political scenario set In a very hilarious situation. The audience applauded the efforts of the child actors and gave a standing ovation for their professional handling of the play.

The next item on the cultural menu was scintillating dance performances by the children. The child dancers enthralled the spectators by their well rehearsed and well choreographed dances. The dances were choreographed by Kashish Thakyal. The dancers who made the spectators thump their feet include Sushant, Adhiraj, Navjeet, Ashish, Rangat, Shivang, Ujjwal, Hilesh, Yashdeep, Janvi, Diva, Divyaansh, vishwajeet, Nikhil, Jiya, Shagun,Poorvi, Dhruv, Keshav, Shivaansh, Hitesh, Yasmeen, Kartik, Varun, Saksham, Anirudh, Shiva and Aman.

The programme was very professionally compered by Miss Ashima Sharma.
Sh. Sanjay Gupta, Gen. Secy. Indian People’s Theatre Association was the chief guest on the occasion. Other’s  who shared the presidium include, Mrs.(Dr. ) Nanjla Rathore,Principal of the school,Mr. Ravinder Kant, Manoj Bhat, eminent theatre and TV artist, Vijay Malla, Pres. IPTA, J.R. Jackson,eminent choreographer of the state, Sh. Ramesh Gupta, Chairman Apna Parivaar and Sh. Ravi Shanker, Pres. Apna Parivaar .

The chief guest in his address impressed upon the parents to let the children live their life and encourage them to participate in performing arts which will help them to develop holistically. The programme concluded with the certificate cum memento distribution by the chief guest.Mr. Harkirt JIj, Organiser of the summer camp presented the vote of thanks.
